About Howard Braithwaite (Founder)
Howard is the Founder of MDS Search and a trusted advisor to founders, executives and leadership teams during critical growth moments. With 20+ years in executive search and talent recruitment, he has partnered with high-growth startups and established organizations to deliver C‑Suite, VP, Director and highly specialized individual contributor hires.
Before launching MDS Search, Howard spent 15 years with one of North America’s most respected recruiting firms, leading complex searches across Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance & Accounting and BioTech, often in competitive, time-sensitive markets where discretion and process matter. In addition he was responsible for successfully building and scaling multiple million-dollar revenue producing recruiting and sales teams.
Known for a hands-on, high-touch approach, Howard brings market insight, tight execution and clear communication to every search, while maintaining the confidentiality clients and candidates expect.
Originally from Manchester, England, he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, three children and their dog.
